LI: to create a multi-moda | DLO that tells others about swamp tigers.
Our challenge we made a multi-moda DLO about swamp tigers, but first we took notes about the swamp tigers diet, behaviour, appearance, and habitat. This is because we are learning how to write an information report about the swamp tiger. We wrote down facts, we wrote what they ate, what they do for a living, etc. We also made an audio for the DLO, so the readers would be able to listen, read, and see what the swamp tigers are about. We wrote down things like: the swamp tigers scientific name, which is – Panthera Tigris Tigris. We also wrote down where the tiger lives, like: a mangrove swamp, forest, and etc. For its behaviour, it would act protectively, if its predator encountered it. It also is territorial, which is protecting its land from other animals or people going on it. Some interesting fact that I’ve learnt about the swamp tiger is that it is the deadliest animal in the world, it is a carnivore which is only meat eaters and also eats human, and I also learnt is that swamp tigers kill 100 fishermen per year.
I enjoyed this task because we were able to make recordings and take notes about an animal that we’ve never heard of. Something that I would like to improve on is to make sure our recording was more clear, so if anyone listens to the audio, they would be able to listen to the audio nice and clear.
