Cybersmart – Cybersmart Vocab

LI: to understand Cybersmart Vocab

For this activity I worked on a word search about cybersmart vocab. The hardest word in the word search is Kawa of Care because Kawa of Care was hard to see due to the other words blocking the other letters. In the next activity we group the Cybersmart vocab to the meaning of the vocab. For example: Kawa of Care – An agreement between schools, families, and students. That helps everyone understand how to use and look after their devices propley.

I enjoyed this task because this task had one of my favourite activities, word search in this task.

Being Cybersmart – Kawa of Care

LI: to be Cybersmart around chromebooks.

The whole reason that the Kawa of Care exists, and your school and your whānau work together so that you can use a chromebook is for your learning. For the kawa of care quest, I answered questions about the kawa of care and I got them all right. (Thank you Mr Goodwin for sharing this quest)

I enjoyed this task because I thought that this quiz is a fun activity to learn about kawa of care.

SLJ Kick Start – Wheres Wally?

For this task we had to find Mrs Taylor. (The red circle is Mrs Taylor). This task was very hard and stressful because this task was hard to see people cause of them being all crowrded with people. This task was created by myslef and a help from Densyn because the Mrs Taylor was small sometimes.

I enjoyed this task because this task was fun and funny because of all the poses.

SLJ Step It Up Challenge – Summer Style

For this summer learning journey I did the step it up challenge for summer style. This drawing is a little island with palm tree, the setting is a sunset, with birds flying around. This reminds me of looking at the sunset and looking at the beautiful view.

This task was a very fun task because I got to draw something that I liked. This task is my favourite SLJ task because I love drawing at my house.

 

 

SLJ – Te Reo Maori Memes

This summer learning jounery task was about making a Te Reo Maori Memes. For this task we had to make a meme in Te Reo Maori. My meme in english is ‘POV: me fake laughing to a non funny joke’. In Maori, the meme is ‘POV: ka kata rūpahu ahau ki te katakata kore’. This task was hard because I didn’t know any Maori, so I used translation.

I enjoyed this task because this task required a english and Maori version.

SLJ Kick Start – Colour Bookmark

This challenge was to make a colourful bookmark. For this task me, Riley, and Densyn, thought about the idea for what to write and chose the summer and winter. The colours were made by Densyn, the drawing was made by me, and Riley made up the idea. This task was fun because we used our creativity and thought about about the idea of summer and winter.

I enjoyed this task beccause we used our creativity on the DLO and made our amazing ideas.

SLJ Kick Start – Summer Jams

For this summer learning jounery activity, we got to make a jam that reminds people of the summer time. For this task we used a website called ‘Groove Pizza‘ This website had a variety of jams like: Groove, Jazz, Rock, Techno, Afro-Latin, and Hip Hop. For my jam I used Jazz and threw a little twist to it. This task was fun because we got to make our own jams and feel the beat to our jam.

This task was a creavite task because we got to enjoy our own beat and listen to other peoples beat to see if there jam was better.

SLJ Comic Strips – Kick Start Activity

This activity was created by Deziah and myself. Our challenge for the summer learning journey was to make comic strips about the beach. This comic strip is all about having a fun time at the beach. This is a fun activty to celebarate with a partner. This activity is also about creativity. This comic is about people having fun at the beach. Playing volley, doing cannon balls, and resting on the beach.

My partner and I enjoyed this task because this was a very intersting comic about the beach. This activty is also hard because it was hard to add different movements for the people.

 

Inquiry – Presentation

We shared our presentation about bees. Miley, Gianni, Yavi, and Alicity were in my group. We presented so we can use our feedback for another presention.

First we watched our presention. After our presention is done, our score will be showen to us. Mr Wong does our score, while watching and hearing our presention.

Next we saw our score and got merit. Merit is the 2nd best score. For our imformation we got merit, For our print design rules we got merit, and for our talking in loud voice we got merit.

I enjoyed this task because our feed back was better than I thought. I need to improve on writing more information. I did well on talking loud.

Reading – Presention

My group shared our presentation about sharks. Riley, Genesis, Densyn, David, Zai Lett, and Bethany were in my group. We presented so we can improve on our reading.

First we got up and presented. David was the first one to talk and talked about the title, author, and the introduction. Riley was the second person to talk and talked about the introduction too. Densyn was the third person and talked about where sharks live, how many there are in the world, and how many are in New Zealand. For example: Riley talked about the body parts of a shark. Denysn, Riley, and David need to improve on using body language.

Next we presented the information script. Zai Lett talked about the information script. For example: Zai Lett talked about the 3 different groups, ray, skates, and sharks. Genesis talked about the good things about sharks. I was the last person to talk. I talked about what our group thought about sharks. For example: I talked about what the group thought and the bad things about sharks. Genesis and I need to improve on giving eye contact.

Lastly we got our score. We got our feedback for our presentation. My group’s score was merit. We got merit as our score because we wrote text details, 3 summarising text, layout, composition, text, and colour. My group needs to improve on talking louder and using body language. For example: body language is pointing at the text at the right time.

I enjoyed this task because we presented our work. I did well on writing my script because my group helped me on writing my script and our other groups script. I need to improve on giving eye contact to the audience.
